Children enjoyed them and we did not find any increase in accidents by having it in the yard. Good for skill development for children who had gross motor difficulties or delay in development.

The Balance Buddy bike was simple to construct and very sturdy, while still being light weight. I was impressed with its ability to adjust to different heights with ease. The colour is bright and attractive. The younger children (18mths-28mths) were unable to co-ordinate themselves on the bike, the older children (3+) were better able to use it to its full potential.

The children aged 4-5 years were able to zip around really well, they understand the “balancing”. Children 3 and under struggled especially children with shorter legs. Children who could use them, really like the bright colours. We found the bikes light and easy to store and use.

The staff found that the children who had difficulties in riding bikes with pedals, gained more confidence with the balance bike. We have purchased 2 bikes, great for children with additional needs.
